I am having Samsung galaxy Nexus mobile. Recently ,my mobile internet is getting used in the back ground, even if switch off the mobile internet from settings.Like once i switch off the mobile internet, after few minuts,i could see the mobile internet is being used and if i go to settings,I could see the mobile internet is on.

    Andriod version is 4.3..

Currently I have selected the option of restrict background internet access.

Could some one tell m ,why this is happening ?

    Welcome to AC
Are you turning the "mobile data" option off or only disabling background data for the apps?
Which apps are the ones using data?

As mentioned ,when i found that my internet is being used , even though i disabled the mobile internet.

Then i thought if i disable the restrict background apps ,then my mobile internet might not be used. But still that is happening

I could see the mobile internet is on .

Which apps are the ones using it though?
I'd recommend using Juice Defender, which turns off mobile data automatically when the screen is off: https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...defender&hl=en
