Why am I unable to copy files from my Windows 7 PC to LG G3?

Can't copy files from Windows 7 PC to LG G3

I am unable to copy files (mp3s, pictures, etc) via USB from my PC to my LG G3. I have tried going to both the internal storage and to my SD card on my phone and neither work. My computer shows my phone correctly and connected via MTP but when I try transfer a file the transfer bar sits there not moving until it times out and says it failed.

Do you have any suggestions? I can copy files from my phone to my computer no problem and I can copy files from my computer at work to the phone as well. This leads me to believe it is an issue with my home computer. It is a Windows 7 home edition 64 bit.

Did you install the LG driver? LG Mobile Phone Support

What version of Windows is the work computer running (just so we can see if that could be an issue).

Have you plugged the phone into a different USB port? Are you using the same cable that works on the work computer? When you plug the phone into the home computer, does the phone ask you to authorize the phone on that computer, and you you?
