How do I get my wifi connection back?

Lost internet WiFi connection

Standing next to my wireless router, a Linksys EA6300, or anywhere for that matter my Boost Mobile Samsung Galaxy 3 (SPH-L710) using android 4.4.2 with a hardware version L710.14 and a software version of L710VPUCNJ3 will consistently lose its internet connection. Sometimes the phone claims my server is turned off, which it is not.
I can manually reconnect but it only last a minute or so before I'm using my 4G/3G data at a much slower speed. Any help would be greatly appreciated
