I have had a Huawei H881C straight talk phone for several months now. Recently, I have noticed some issues while texting, such as texts closing before I am able to send, etc. Today the typing screen decided to no longer open... in text, email, facebook, anything! I have removed the battery, updated OTA programming, cleared out my memory to no avail. Any ideas?

Welcome to Android Central! See if you can boot into Recovery and wipe the cache partition, which won't erase any personal data. I found this video for the Ascend, so I hope it is the same process for the Ascend Plus. The video is in Spanish, but the steps are:

    1. Make sure Fastboot is turned off.
    2. Power off.
    3. Press and hold Power and Volume Up until the Recovery Menu appears.
    4. Use the Vol buttons to highlight Wipe Cache Partition, and press Power to execute.
    5. When done, highlight Reboot System Now, and press Power.
