Why do I have a amoled screen micro blister?

A

AC Question

Hi. Amoled screen micro blister.

it is a semi translucent blister which appears to grow only noticeable week by week. it emanates from top right of display (not from extreme top right of gorilla glass) my thoughts are some breach of a Amoled component layering is slowly un-bonding a discreet polymer layer in the form of a slender branching bubble like what appears when a sticky laminate is not applied evenly leaving raised bubbles. Is this layer important to the screen operation or is it just a niggling protective final layer (which incidentally is behind not on touch face) Thank you.

Re: Hi. Amoled screen micro blister.

Whatever it is - unless it's a failing screen protector you're unaware of, applied by a previous owner - it's a fault. Do you still have touch sensitivity in that area?
