Why can'[t I recover device storage on Galaxy S5 after moving files to SD Card

I moved my music from my device to an SD card. I was running low on memory on the device. Now that files are moved I never recovered any memory on the device. I checked 'Device Storage' in 'My Files' but the music file is empty. I am new to this phone and not finding it to be very intuitive. Help!

Hello. Sorry for the delay. Try looking in Storage, and clearing Cached Data. Also open Used Space.
If you are running out of space for more apps, I don't think moving music will help as apps have dedicated storage afaik.
Do you have large game files?
