Should I hard reset my Galaxy S3?

Hard reset galaxy S3

(sorry if my english is not good i´m from mexico)

A few hours ago i select from my phone settings the factory recover but somehow when i turn it on it stops where the logo is and stays there.
I´m very worried because i already put an LG phone in brick mode now i'm afraid to happen the same thing.

Please help me

So you select Recovery and that takes you to the fallen Android and the 'No command' message? Or do you mean something else?
