How to get USB storage back after factory reset?

A

AC Question

I have galaxy note 1.
I wanted to wipe my phone, to be able to sell it. I made a factory reset. Then checked the phone if it's clean and it had all my S-Note files still in it. So I read some articles and they suggested to encrypt all and then reset, so i tried that.
Now "My files" section is empty and if i look at "Storage" it only shows device memory 1.97gb(it's correct) and USB storage isn't shown(not oky).

How to get Note's USB storage to show up again?

Welcome to Android Central! It sounds like the initial factory reset wasn't done correctly, because there's no way your S-Notes would still be there. Did you do the reset from the Settings>Backup & Reset menu, or from the Recovery Menu (which you can only get to by pressing a certain combination of buttons while rebooting)?

Try doing another factory data reset, this time using the hardware buttons: Samsung Galaxy Note: Soft and Hard Reset (AT&T Version)
