A number of weeks ago I bought the above unit for it's HD capabilities including 5.1DD sound.
Now no matter what I do I can't get 5.1DD signal out of it.
I have tried all manner of different methods with a known 5.1 file, DLNA streaming, playing it off a file on a USB stick. Nothing from XBMC either.
I have contacted the manufacturer and they say they are working on an update, but all they keep refering to XBMC. That wont solve the other sources.
Has anybody bought one of these and successfully got 5.1 from it? They are a fairly popular make.
