How do I fix my USB port problem after upgrading my HTC Incredible S to android 4.0.4?

Problem with USB port after upgrade of HTC incredible S to android 4.0.4

Hi everyone, I have a problem with data transfer from my phone HTC incredible s after upgrade of android to version 4.0.4. After I put USB cabel to PC, the phone does not ask whether to connect to pc or just charge..The phone just charges andnothing else.
The phone is not recognized by the pc, I have USB debug on...so I dont know what to do. I started to transfer files via gmail, but for larger files it is not useful
Any ideas?

Welcome to Android Central! Was that an official system update sent over the air, or did you root the phone and manually install it?
