Note 4 5ghz wifi

Hi, I have an unrooted note 4. In my home I have a Net Gear router that has the 2.4 ghz and the 5 ghz broadcasting separately. When i connect to the 5ghz on my note 4 it discounts and reconnects very frequently even though I am receiving good signal. Is this a Note 4 problem or a router problem?

Welcome to Android Central! Is there anything else in your house that might be using the 5 GHz band? Or any of your neighbors also using the band?
