I own a htc one m7 and I went to go check a game, it was taking an unusually long time to load so I pressed the home button, it didn't respond, then after about 5 seconds it went home and I was spammed with "app not responding" errors and system errors, so much so that I couldn't use my phone, if I tapped "ok" on the error the same error would pop up again immediately, I went to turn it off and it hasn't turned on since. even if I hold it down for 20-30 seconds it still wont respond. help!!!!

Welcome to Android Central! What was the battery doing around that time? Try keeping it plugged into a wall outlet for at least 12 hours, then try powering on again with a long press of the Power button.

the battery was at around 80-90 % when it died. I let it charge for 12 hours and held the power button for a long time, still nothing. is she dead? or could a cell shop repair it?

Hard to say. It could be anything from a faulty Power button to a bad motherboard.
