I just got a Samsung galaxy tab 3, 7.0". It has only 8G of memory and I'm looking to get a 16G micro SD card for it, but I'm quite confused as to which kind to get.

Essentially, the classes represent the minimum write rate of data. So a class 10 will write data at a minimum of 10MB a second. For more info, look here:

I believe the card you mention is supported. Also, check this one out:

Any phone can use a cars as fast as it needs or faster. (The only problem is if the card is too slow, and a U1 card isn't too slow for the S3.) And you only need a U3 card if you're going to be recording 4k videos, which you can't with the S3. So if you get a good price on a good U1 card (I only use SanDisk. They invented the technology, and only they and Samsung make the chips in the cards. Everyone else buys their chips and packages and programs them into cards. I find SanDisk a much easier company to deal with if I ever have a problem - which I haven't since 32MB [not GB - MB] was considered a lot of storage - except for a card I broke in half accidentally which, of course, isn't covered by any warranty.)
