Why aren't my apps workng with my 2015 Chevy Equinox?

2015 Chevy Equinox help with Bluetooth Connection

I've Synced the phone, and calling works perfectly sending or receiving calls. However, other applications do not display the sound through the car or the phone while synced. Like the GPS will not talk through the car speakers, or through the phone. Is there a setting I need to change on the car system? I tried messing with the phone's volumne to no avail as well.

Welcome to Android Central! I think streaming Bluetooth audio is only for music, not for other app sounds. But I have recently noticed your phenomenon as well--when connected to my car via Bluetooth, app sounds don't play through the phone nor the speakers. I don't think there's a setting for that--it may have to do with the Bluetooth interface itself.
