Where do My downloaded apps go to?

Can't find downloaded apps

I have downloaded several apps to my Galaxy s4 and I see the progress of the download. When it finishes I click on install and it appears to. When I look at the app later from the Play Store it says it is installed and gives me the option to uninstall. The Notifications screen tells me each is susuccessfully installed, but I can't find it in my apps screens and when I click on the downloaded arrow on that screen I'm told there are no dowloaded apps!!!

The first thing to try is a reboot....Power Off the phone followed by Restart.

Were you on a Homescreen and have pressed the Applications icon in the bottom dock on the right.

If you can't find the icons make sure you are in the app list screens, App Drawer, where you can press menu to make sure they are in alphabetical order or in a list view. Also just ensure you are not there looking at the Widgets tab.

Sorry if this is obvious, but a lot of people are new to Android / Smartphones.

....... you can also check in Settings - General - Applications Manager - Downloaded list or All list.
