I selected what I thought was a video to delete. I wasn't really paying attention, I guess because it was the ENTIRE camera album! I have 4 kids of my own, and a class that I do a memory book for at the end of the school year. All of my pictures and videos were in that album. I can get by without the pics of the class if I had to, but the pictures and videos of my kids are priceless. Is there any way to fix this, or am I just totally screwed?

Welcome to Android Central! Which device? What app did you use to delete it? Where were the photos stored--on internal storage, or a microSD card?

Try opening the Photos app (the one with the pinwheel icon), swipe in from the left, and tap Trash--see if they're there. If not, and if the photos were on a microSD card, then unmount the card (in Settings>Storage), remove it, and insert it into your computer. Now use a program like DiskDigger or PhotoRec to see if you can recover them. If the photos were on internal storage, then it's much harder to try to recover--you'd have to root the phone first.
