Why am I getting an error message when I try to us OK Google?

problems with OK Google recognition on Droid Turbo

I'm just setting up my Droid Turbo. In my Voice settings for Google Now it won't detect "OK Google" on Google Now and when I try to set it up for "from any screen" I get a message which reads:

"Can't use the microphone. Restart your device"

I've restarted several times, with no change. Any suggestions? Many thanks!

Welcome to Android Central! It may be conflicting with Moto Voice. Try turning Moto Voice off.
