My wife cannot get her PC to open on her log in because of HTC UPCT loader has stopped working, how can I fix this?

My wife cannot get her PC to open on her log in because of HTC UPCT loader has stopped working

She loggs in on her log in and imediately it goes to this HTC UPCT loader has stopped working . Tried to uninstall HTC withouut sucess. she cant use her files at all. I can log into my user on the computer and it works just fine any ideas??

Welcome to Android Central! Is this a Windows 7 or 8 PC? Is she otherwise able to go to the Startup Manager (msconfig from the "Run" command), and see if she can disable whatever this HTC program is?
