Why is my Nexus 7 very slow with 5.0.2?

[AC Question]

After the upgrade 5.0.2 that I installed yesterday, my Nexus 7 is incredibly slow no matter what I'm trying to access or work on. I have closed it down and restarted a few times but it has made no difference.
What can be done to improve the response time?

Try two things:

1) Go to Settings, Storage, Cached Data, and clear the cache.

2) Wipe the Cache Partition.

Mine has really slowed down with 5.0.2. So much worse than KitKat. I really hope 5.1 fixes this and arrives soon. I am getting VERY frustrated with this. But - since really no responses to your post - wondering if there is just a few of us affected. Anyone?
