How do I manage the Status Bar?

I understand the more icons showing on the Status Bar, the faster the battery drains. How do I manage the status bar?

Welcome to Android Central! That's not necessarily true--it depends what those icons represent. If the icon represents an app that is running in the background that is using excessive battery, then you need to manage that app (or uninstall it). Managing the status bar itself won't do anything for battery consumption.
