My phone is not moving beyond thr initial 'Motorola' screen. All of a sudden, it started behaving like this. I have to press hard the 'power on' button. After few seconds of pressing, the first screen comes which has Motorola sign and says 'powered by Android'. After few seconds, the screen goes off. Two days back I upgraded the OS!! Boot into Recovery and wipe the Cache Partition, which is good practice after a software update.

you need to boot into recovery mode and wipe cache. do a factory reset if this doesnt work. if after a factory reset, this doesnt work then you'll need to flash the previous / lower version's stock ROM. you can see How to unbrick / fix a bricked Android device for other unbricking methods
