Why is my camera focus so bad on my Kingelon N8000 smart phone 5,5 inch?

Hi there ive the above phone and its meant to have a 13mp camera but I cant see how as the shots are blurry and its meant to auto focus but cant see that either..

Has anyone else got this phone who can tell me if I got a bad phone and needs to go back for another one or the photos are crap anyway.

There isn't a plastic protector on the lens by any chance, that needs to be removed?

Hi. I remember looking this phone up for another issue
It's based on the Note 3, and it seemed quite good for the money. Not a fake or copy as such, imv.
However, though I can't find the search results I found then, Amazon UK has it listed.
I was surprised that you were correct (and incorrect) about the camera. The 3 times more expensive Note 3 has a 13 mp camera.

Amazon does list it in the header as a 13 mp camera, but in the technical details I copied below, it says 5mp interpolated to 13mp.
It's been a while since I heard the word interpolated, I think it was regarding televisions.

So wherever you bought it, you may have a case, I don't know. I think Amazon should not have it in their description, but they may be covered in the details.
