Can I fix my 3 year old Droid Razr Maxx HDMI?

[AC Question]

3 year old droid razr maxx having hdmi issues.

It keeps saying I'm connected to HDMI cable all the time but it's not. I did a factory reset and it didn't fix it. Is it just old and needs replacing or is it a hardware issue?

Welcome to Android Central! I'd say both--it's probably a hardware issue, and that means it's probably time to get a replacement phone! Getting it repaired won't be worth it.
