HTC M8 got wet for 4 hours.Is my phone is dead now??

I drop my phone in sink HTC ONE M8 and then i removed it immediately and it is already switched off then i place hole phone in uncooked rice for 24 hr in sun shine.

good thing is that it is charging and charging light in on when i plug the wire . . But phone is not going ON .

what are the possibility of faulty part in the phone . which is hindering the phone to switch on .

please help me

How did your phone end up? Mine got wet and is doing the same thing, charge light is flashing, but it's not turning on. Did your phone ever recover?
