Why is my camera on 16:9 mode after 5.0.2 update?

Camera issue in 16:9 modeafter 5.0.2 update.

Updated my Nexus 5 (OTA) from 4.4.4 to 5.0.2 a couple of days ago. Noticed today that in 16:9 (6.0 m/pix ) mode if I give it full zoom the resulting pic is not what I saw on screen. The pic is as though I had pointed the camera a full pic frame height downwards. Testing the other five settings gave the expected results with no hint of a problem.

Any suggestions as to what might be causing this?

That's an interesting one. Try Settings Apps, All, scroll to Camera and select Clear Cache.

It may also be worth wiping the Cache Partition in Recovery....a procedure which in the Nexus 5 can take about 10min, note.
