Why am I getting an error message on my S5?

[AC Question]

My S5 has a popup that says

The process android.process.acore has stopped I took the battery out and reinstalled it , now what?

Welcome to Android Central! The acore error can be a little tricky to solve, because it can be due to a number of different apps. It's usually associated with Contacts, though.
