Why is my note 4 only getting an E data and poor download rate compared to another brand

We just got our phones and are on the same plan. We can be sitting next to each otherand he always gets better connection speed on data than I do with my galaxy note 4...... thanks in advance

The performance of radios in devices varies from one manufacturer to another. I notice differences myself among my own devices....though I don't own a Sammy.
