    After I upgraded my HTC one m8 it won't let me open Barclays banking app says not for rooted mobiles how can I reset my phone

    If by 'upgraded' you mean you've received a software update, try a Cache Partition wipe in Recovery.

    If you're saying your phone is an upgrade from your network provider, and that it actually is rooted, ask for a replacement. A previous user may have rooted the phone. You can unroot a phone but you shouldn't have to do that.

    Banking apps won't work on rooted phones, you need to flash back the stock rom.

    I would link you a guide but I can't find it, and I am not knowledge with rooting.
