    Rooting is done at the Android or Linux level, not at the manufacturer level.

    What version of Android are you running? Look in settings/General/About device/Kernel and tell us what the date of the kernel is. With those, we can offer some suggestions.

    If it's running 4.4.2 and the kernel date is June 2, 2014 or earlier, Towel Root should root it. If it's running earlier than 4.4.2, Kingo should root it.
