Why can't I stay connected to ANY wifi?

Can't stay connected to ANY wifi

Feb 5th my Samsung 5 started searching for wifi connection and switching between wifi and 4G using my data. My battery which usually lasts 36-40 hours dies after 8 hours due to constant strain.Research on this forum and the net suggest the problem is the new update .So how do I delete this new update and go back to the before when it worked correctly?

Welcome to Android Central! It's a pretty common complaint so far. Try going to Settings>Wi-fi​, tap Menu>Advanced, and turn off Smart Network Switch.
