Why am I not able to install more apps on my BQ S37 even after putting in an sd card?

not able to install more apps in my BQ S37 even after putting sd card

I am using BQ S37 has 512mb ROM soi put SD card to install app, after installing what's app I can't install more apps as it said error in downloading because low internal device memory..but I already put SD card and done choice in settings to install new app in SD card

The SD card is external storage, you need enough free space in internal storage to install apps.

A phone with only 512MB of internal storage is usable as a phone with a few small apps today. Many apps are already large enough to require more than 500MB to install just a single app. ( I have no idea why they put 4.4.2 in that phone, it can barely support 2.3.)
