So, recently I went skiing and took some pictures, half-way through the day my battery died so I put in my second one. When I got home all the pictures and video's I had taken were not there after I changed the battery, now when launching my gallery it says there was an error, and only the pictures before the batter swap show up, taking more pictures does not help, none show up. And no before you ask, the phone did not get wet. Now if I use another app I have on my phone that I use to watch videos that are not taken by the camera I can find the videos taken by the camera after the battery was switched. I still have yet to find my pictures and it would be nice to have them all in one place.

Welcome to Android Central! Which phone? Where were the photos saving to--a microSD card? It's possible that if the phone died without properly shutting down, the microSD card might have become corrupted.
