Why doesn't my Droid Razr M allow me to sometimes enter my wifi password?

AC Question

Droid Razr M does not allow you to enter wifi password.

It identifies our home wifi network and shows the wifi icon with a padlock. I touch Connect. It says "Connecting ..." Then it says "Saved, secured with WPA/WPA2." I never get the screen to enter the password. The wifi icon does not show in the upper right corner of the screen. How do I connect the phone to wifi?

Welcome to Android Central! You're certain it's your network, right? I ask this because sometimes people don't change the generic SSID that the router came with (i.e., the network's name), and if one of your neighbors did the same thing, then your device might be trying to connect to your neighbor's router. Make sure your SSID is unique.

Have you tried long-pressing your network and tapping Forget, then trying to connect again? It ought to prompt you for a password again.
