So, my phone (A Samsung Galaxy S3) has been acting funny for the past few weeks. When I unlock my phone, it freezes for like 2 or 3 minutes, unlocks for like 3 seconds, then goes back to the lock screen where I have to unlock it again and it acts normal. When I put it on the charger, it says it's charging, but it stays in the yellow and red zones. From time to time (while on the charger), it constantly acts as if I'm unplugging and plugging the charger, but I'm not. My phone has been on the charger all day and remained in the red zone. While I was in the middle of a few conversations via text, it just turned itself off and started charging. Help?

Not sure about the freezing/locking up for extended periods of time, but the not charging could possibly be a bad cable or the USB connector in the phone could have gone bad. On my old Galaxy Nexus, the USB connector went bad after a rain drop of water got inside it and I had to replace that part in order to get it to charge again.
