I have a galaxy S4 and my music apps can't be controlled from the lock screen. I use beats music primarily. I believe this problem started when I downloaded 8 tracks/pandora. I used to be able to pause and skip songs but that went away. So, I uninstalled 8 tracks and pandora, but the problem persists. I cant find anything in the settings that could help change this... any suggestions on how to bring back lock screen control?

Welcome to Android Central! Not sure if this will help, but try a cache partition wipe: http://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-5744
