    The phone has 16GB of NAND storage, about half of which is used by the system. You can store up to 128GB of files (pictures, videos, music, etc.) on an SD card, but you have only about 6GB for apps. That's the phone you bought. Phones aren't expandable - yet. (The Ara project is to produce a modular phone, so you could replace the 16GB with 32GB or 64GB and have a larger phone. It's not going to be here for a while, though.)
