My HTC Vivid stuck on logo screen and won't go any further...Help?

I have a HTC Vivid and it is stuck on the white logo screen and won't go any further. I have tried everything in Hboot... fastboot, factory reset etc and it still stuck. I've have connected it to my computer to try RUU but I keep getting errors saying my mobile device is not connected. Someone please help. Thanks in advance
