How to recover files from internal Storage from a dead android?

[AC Question]

I started having battery issues with my device where it wont fully charge but i ignored it and one day i forgot to charge it and the battery drained fully and now it doesn't even turn on anymore no lights or anything at all. I tried to remove the battery and plug it in the wall socket and Pc no good either. Been charing this for about 2 days now still no sign. I just wanted to get my files from my internal storage is there any other way? even if it means doing some mechanic stuff ill do it just to take out my files

Welcome to Android Central! Which phone? If the battery is dead, try replacing it. If it's a non-user removable battery, you could probably still find a video on YouTube on how to replace it yourself (or bring it to a repair shop).
