Welcome to Android Central! Is the SIM card in your current phone the same one that was in your previous destroyed phone? Did you have contacts saved to the SIM card on that old phone?

I'd contact Asurion and ask them to replace the defective phone they sent you.

Not sure what to do next, sorry. Try bringing it to your Verizon store and show them the problem.

All replacements do come with a 1 year limited warranty. We'd be happy to look into this further for you. Please email us at socialmediateam@asurion.com with your claim number and the best number to reach you. Thanks!
