I need to access recovery mode, but I think the home button has become weak, it works sometimes and sometimes it doesn't for task manager etc. So when I try to enter recovery mode it simply boots.
Any other way to enter recovery mode? Or do I need to get the home button fixed?

The method of accessing Recovery varies from one device to another. I know that with my Nexus 5, getting into Recovery is tricky because, as you are finding, the phone tends to reboot instead. Persistence ought to do it, however. Search the correct method for your own device online, or in the Help pages on the device. Recovery can be accessed from Settings, as an alternative to the hard buttons method, on some devices.
