I have an LG G2 that has a broken touch screen. It displays just fine, just that the screen is messed up. I ordered a replacement, and the new one is here. My goal is to try to connect the broken phone to the PC and view it remotely so that the phone screen shows up on my computer. I'm using a tutorial on How To Geek (How to Remote View and Control Your Android Phone). It won't let me post a link directly to the tutorial, sorry.
My problem is that my phone doesn't show up as a device. It's automatically connecting as an installer and I have no clue how to get it to show as a device since I can't unlock it and tell it not to do that.
Does anyone have an idea on how to get it to show up as a device? Thanks in advance.
