Why am I unable able to register my mobile number in Whatsapp when I installed on my new phone?

I am not able to register my mobile number in whatsapp when i installed in my new phone.

I use Samsung Galaxy Centura(Tracfone). Android phone..
I cleared that I can use Whatsapp in my phone (I asked the Tracfone customer care)
I need some help on this. Please reply

Are you given an error when trying to do so? If so, what is that error?

it says my number is not a registerd mobile for the country :united states
