how to activate data connection for android

You have to insert a SIM card and, unless it's done automatically, enter the correct APN settings for your carrier or network provider. If you have not done those things, your carrier will be able to advise. If you have done them, it may be that your Mobile Data is simply failing to connect. First, make sure that it's switched on....if it is, but still not working, try switching off, then on again. Try the same with Airplane mode, switching on, then off. If you still have problems, it may be a faulty SIM, or something else about which your carrier will be able to advise.
