Hi I have a HTC one mini 2, I've transferred from an iPhone

I was just wondering whether there was any way I could get the little numbers next to my apps to show how many notifications I have.
I love the phone but hate as soon as I scroll down to the notification panel the little symbols go and then I forgot I have messages.

I missed 3 texts yesterday. So if there is any way I can turn that option on it would be great. I've downloaded a couple of things but it changes my whole home screen which I don't want. Just want it to tell me when I haven't read my texts or how many Facebook notification I have

I don't know if HTC has a built in feature to do that. If not, you can try Nova Prime and the Tesla Unread plugin.

Nova is a launcher and will give you a lot of options to custom your phone. There is a free version, but it doesn't support the Unread plugin.

Agree with Javier P. Also try Notifyer Unread Count.
