I just got the new Moto X and love it. However, the battery life is pretty awful, and I usually have to charge it several times a day. The battery is also non-replaceable. How long can I expect my battery to last given that it needs to be charged several times a day? Can I expect it to go 2 years before there's a noticeable degrade in battery life?

With heavy use and a couple of charges a day, two years is still doable but you will see a decrease in battery life in about a year, a year and a half. Not awful (you're already charging twice or more a day anyhow), but noticeable.
