If it's about as old as mine (about 15 months) and you've mistreated the battery (too cold, too hot, letting it discharge almost all the way a lot), it could be at its life's end by now. (A badly mistreated battery will hardly last 6 months.) The good news is that a package of 2 Anker batteries and a charger (so you charge the one in the phone and the one outside the phone at the same time) is about $25. (Look on Amazon for Note 3 battery. Anker is white with a blue label, so scan and find the picture of 2 of them with a charger. One battery with no charger is about $13, so the charger is basically free with 2 batteries.)
