How do I get my Samsung Galaxy to laptop connection to stay intact?

samsung galaxy to laptop connection failure (via usb cable)

sometimes it connects but gets disconnected soon. i have to restart my laptop and it works again. cable is original.phone not rooted. pl suggest what i should do to keep the connection intact.

Welcome to Android Central. I would try different USB ports and cables. See if that makes a difference.
