Welcome to Android Central! What booster app are you using? I generally shy away from those kinds of apps, because some of the things they do can be counterproductive (like "cleaning RAM," which is usually not a good idea on Android). Most of the useful things these apps do are things you can do on your own in the system settings.

I second that. The data files from an app you uninstalled (but it didn't delete its data files) are useless, but a cleaner app may not delete them. A temporary file that you don't want to delete yet may get deleted.

Your brain is the best "file cleaner" there is - you know what you no longer need.

I am not too big on most of the Cleaner apps myself. Going through the device yourself, deleting unseeded apps and pictures and videos, with the occasional reboot if things get really bad is a lot better than most apps of that type.
