How to reset inbuit Data Usage counter?

As the current scheme in india valid for 28 days only, I had to reset data counter. If I recharge on 5th then I have to set cycle from 3rd to 30days. If we select back date, it counts previous two day's data also. Please suggest solution.

Welcome to Android Central! Which phone do you have? On my Nexus 5, when I have my mobile data on and go to Settings>Data Usage, I can tap on the date range, which brings up a dropdown menu showing recent date ranges, and then a selection at the bottom for "Change Cycle." This allows me to change the day of the month that the cycle starts again. Do you see that?
