Hi. Is there a safe, easy way to upgrade HTC Inspire 2.3.5 to at least Android 4 please? My device is working with old software. I would like to upgrade it without destroying it . If there´s anyone who can suggest an easy way, I would be more than glad to try it. Thanks!

That's like putting a turbo-charged 500 HP engine into a Model T Ford. Yes, it can be done. Will it work? Probably not. You'd have to partition storage to use almost all of storage as the system partition (4 is a lot larger than 2.3), leaving space for maybe one small app.

Check on Area51 Forum to see if anyone modified a later ROM to run from the SD card. They've done that for a few Gingernread devices (but only to run Gingerbread - and Cyanogen 7 did it too), but someone there may have done it for 4.0 or something even later. (DroidHost considers "can't be done" to be a challenge, not a final word. He's dona a lot of "can't be dones".)
